Abstract :

Big data is an emerging hot topic as human beings are generating data in an volatile fassion.Big data possses extreme information of our society therefore it impacts numeurous aspects of human society,such as government ,finance, security and so on. Big data is usually so large and complex which is far beyond the capacity of the existing database management tools for traditional data processing applications. Hadoop MapReduce is a software framework for easily writing applications which process high quantities of data (zetta or terabyte data-sets) in-parallel on large clusters (thousands of nodes) of artefacts in a difinitive, fault-tolerant manner. This paper accords an overview on Big Data, characterstics,Applications along with various benefits and hetrogenous Components of bigdata. This paper also presents the introduction about hadoop cluster with real time example.
