    Abstract :

Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a collectionof two or more devices or nodes or terminals withwireless communications and networking capabilitythat communicate with each other without the aid ofany centralized administrator also the wireless nodesthat can dynamically form a network to exchangeinformation without using any existing fixednetwork infrastructure. And it’s an autonomoussystem in which mobile hosts connected by wirelesslinks are free to be dynamically and some time act asrouters at the same time, and we discuss in this paperthe distinct characteristics of traditional wirednetworks, including network configuration maychange at any time , there is no direction or limit themovement and so on, and thus needed a newoptional path Agreement (Routing Protocol) toidentify nodes for these actions communicate witheach other path, An ideal choice way the agreementshould not only be able to find the right path, and theAd Hoc Network must be able to adapt to changingnetwork of this type at any time. and we talk indetails in this paper all the information of Mobile AdHoc Network which include the History of ad hoc, wireless ad hoc, and types of mobile ad Hocnetworks. In this paper, we represent the morerepresentative of routing protocols, analysis ofindividual characteristics and advantages anddisadvantages and present the all applications ofMobile Ad Hoc Networks.
