Ultra-wideband (UWB) is an emerging wireless technology supporting high data rates and used in many sensing applications. In this paper a low power RF front end CMOS receiver is simulated which can be a part of diagnosing tool in the detection of tumors. The receiver comprises of LNA (Low Noise Amplifier), mixer, transimpedance amplifier. To achieve the required performance a single ended and differential mode LNA is used. To convert the output current from mixer into voltage the transimpedance amplifier has been designed. The simulation and analysis are carried out by using Mentor Graphics tool.
